Welcome To Muaniweni College!
Muaniweni College is an initially a Sanatan School which consist of students from few racial backgrounds. It caters for the education of students from 10 different villages in the upper Rewa River. The college has its own Kindergarten and primary school which is multiracial based as well. We value the diversity of cultures at our school and welcome all students to join our school.
Brief history of Muaniweni College:
The school was established in 1974 and was formerly known as Vunicibicibi Junior secondary school.
It started with form one with a roll of twenty-seven students. Gradually over the years the school progressed to offer classes up to form 4 level and in 1999 the school was given the opportunity to offer form 5 education.
In the year 2000, form six education was established and the name subsequently changed to Muaniweni College in the year 2003. Form seven education was also established in the year 2012.
Muaniweni college is located approximately 32km from Nausori town. The school caters for: Nandevatu village, Namuamua village, Nataka walai village, Delaidamanu village, Nacoika village, Nacokaika village, Nakini village, Viria village, Waitolu village, Baulevu and Nasi settlement, Rampurwa settlement, Muaniweni Hillside and riverside.
