School Manager's Report

May the Almighty bless our elders in planning and establishment of Muaniweni College formerly known as Vunidividivi Junior Secondary School, Naitasiri, Fiji, has seen great development and prosperity in the last 48 years. Initially our Muaniweni Community at large contributed for the establishment.

This institution has provided education to thousands of people in the community who are in many professions and serving in Fiji and in many other countries.

The past managements and heads of schools in collaboration with Ministry of Education played a key role in all the progress and we whole heartedly acknowledge them. Teachers, Students and parents also need to be commended as without their hard work and support this would not have been possible.

In the past years the managements and parents had a lot of financial strains but today the Ministry of Education is providing financial aid and all the educational needs and travel expenses to all students up to Year 13 level. We very much appreciate and thank the Government of Fiji.

The School now has 4 main blocks, 5 streams (Year 9 - 13), well-resourced labs and library and improved roll of close to 200 students. The School has been upgraded in all aspects recently. And I thank the hard-work of the Heads of School and teachers for their commendable and tireless effort.

The present Mauniweni College staff is working with responsibility and dedication and we thank them for their co-operation.

I also thank the Board of Trustees and my management colleagues for their co-operation and support.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees and Management I extend our sincere thanks to Ministry of Education for all the advice and support.

I would also like to wish our students all the success in their academic work.
